• Highly recommend you not to use Brushed hairdressing in Dore. I attended my bridal hair trial which I had booked 7 months prior. Upon arrival, I was told she had double booked. So midway through my appointment she also cut someone’s hair and then also set someone’s perm. The hair style I asked for was nothing like I received. She used no products and didn’t spend time trying to achieve the style. When I asked about this later, she said they don’t use products for trials (how are you supposed to know how it’s going to feel and last on the day without having it done exactly how you would on the day) My hair took roughly 20 minutes for a bridal up do! She barely said a word to me whilst I was there which made the whole experience uncomfortable. My hair fell out after 45 minutes. I messaged Hollie and explained that it haven’t lasted and I wasn’t happy. Hollie ignored my message. 2 weeks later I messaged again asking for a refund of my deposit. Hollie told me that her manager would message me. I receive a message off Lauren (the owner) who was very rude from the start. Saying things such I’m the sort of customer she hates and how I’ve upset her staff. She uses the words slander like I’m actually doing something wrong. She asked me if I’m an angry person. Asking if I’m that hard up that I need my money back. Upon starting the consumer rights legislation and asking for her terms and conditions. Lauren sent me quickly typed up, tiny terms and conditions, spelling mistakes and all. After going backwards and forwards for an hour plus. She agreed to issue me a refund. Safe to say I was blocked from messaging her and no refund was issued. I have since spoke to other hairdressers and salons who are shocked by the way I was treated. The respect this lady showed me is shocking. I told the lady I was going to write an honest review and she blocked me from her page so I can’t write a review on their page. Avoid this salon and these girls.
