• Don't go to this dentist. Let alone take your child there. Not only do I doubt they are practising hygiene regulations, they overcharge you. I took my daughter here and I had a similar experience going to their other branch in Merrow. She charged me double the amount. Once I told them that we only had one filling and there was no additional treatment the receptionist corrected the charge. Like me, my daughter said she had a nasty taste in her mouth. We won’t be going there again. I do not recommend the Merrow dental practice either. I had a previous appointment which was cancelled and rescheduled for another time and once I arrived I was treated over 30 minutes late with no apology from reception. I felt my treatment was rushed as I am aware of how long the basic treatment of scaling and polishing should take. The treatment wasn't even good quality. I was also left with a sore gum afterwards and a nasty taste in my mouth from the disinfectant the dentist rubbed on her gloves. That’s the last appointment we make with that dentist.

• The service is incredibly poor, especially with Burpham Dental Care's management. I felt my dentist did not maintain good hygiene (cross infection, etc.) from a specialist point of view, as I am in health care myself, paying little attention to patient care. Furthermore, I was shocked to find that on a number of occasions I was asked to take private treatment feeling that this was pushed on me rather than being offered the option. This is not only my view being expressed here but the views of my family and friends. I am appalled at Burpham dental care's services. They are far from professional. Perhaps an inspector needs to remind them that they are providing a health care service.
