• BEWARE. I looked for a VW Beetle with under 80,000 miles on Autotrader and saw one advertised here. The miles were stated as 80,000 and the car was said to be in very good condition. I drove from Newport to Tondu to see it and was disappointed to see that the odometer reading was 89,700 odd miles. When I looked at the car closely, it was in very bad condition. The paint was scratched and scuffed all round. There were several bits missing and the car has significant body damage to the sills and chasis. I drew the owners attention to the misleading description and the defects. First he laughed at me and then he was rude. What a waste of time and petrol!
