  • 1 star reviewOften stopped in for a pub lunch after a walk on a Sunday and it's been fine. However, we went today with some friends and had a slight problem with our order, nothing major, but the waitress went to fetch the manager. Of course, we didn't have a problem with this, the problem we had was the manner in which this "manager" spoke to us. He was extremely patronising, laughed in our faces and said, "well I'm sorry but I really don't see how this is my problem. I'm washing my hands of you." Now if he honestly couldn't do anything about it, then fine, but to say so in such a, quite frankly, rude and disrespectful way is simply inexcusable -we weren't being unreasonable or difficult. In short, AVOID if you like a place which cares about its loyal customers or has any standard of customer service. Can 100% say we are never going back there again and will tell all our friends who live locally to avoid it as well. Severely disappointed and insulted.
