  • 1 star reviewCalled in with my Husband, 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren wanted to have a family meal, when we asked for a table we were told that they couldn't possibly accomodate the 8 of us even though the place was empty. Obviously don't the need business. The woman was very rude and said she already had a table of eight. We went to The Blue Jay instead who were very accomodating.

  • 1 star reviewUtterly disgusted in the way you treated a local family last night. They decided to use your establishment for the celebration of their mothers 84th birthday. Some celebration it turned out to be. Your ignorant waiting staff decided it was appropriate to laugh at the mother for eating with her hands. This poor woman suffers from Alzheimer's so she has an excuse for this behavior (not as if she needs an excuse as i know lots of people that pick food up with their hands) BUT what is even worse is the fact that when these ignorant staff were confronted by the elderly woman's daughter for their behavior the manageress stepped in & asked the whole family to leave. This is wrong on more levels than i could ever mention. The family also had a sister with them who has Downs Syndrome. WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET OFF TREATING ANYONE IN THIS WAY???? They then had to stand out in the cold for 20 minutes whilst waiting for a taxi. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELVES. Myself i have eaten at your establishment more times than i can remember. BUT NEVER AGAIN.... Also i will be telling many people of the way you act with people with disabilities. I will also be encouraging the family to go to the press about this as people should know what kind of place you really are. YOU SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. OH BY THE WAY I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE YOU A ONE STAR RATING IF IT WAS MY CHOICE.

  • 1 star reviewordered a bottle of wine, which we were then presented with cheap small glasses , after requesting these may be changed for tall wine glasses ( which we have had before) i was rebuffed by the bar maid in which her curt reply was that was all she had. No customer service skilla at all ! Never to set foot in the place again

  • 1 star reviewWaited 20 minutes for order to be taken, eventually had to go to bar to order. Told food would take 30 minutes more. Walked out and ate elsewhere.

  • 1 star reviewWould like to be positive. However, after checking opening times for Sat. we arranged a meeting with a client for 11.30 am. We waited outside in the freezing cold for the doors to open and after 10 mins. gave up and went elsewhere. This site doesn`t allow zero stars so the 1 star is not my rating.
