• do not have anything to do with the company as the promise you they will finish a job but before that they want money up front for materials then once they have it they dont complete and make off with your hard earned cash. They owe me over 3k for work paid for but not completed.

• Please do NOT use this builder he leaves jobs half finished and will not return your calls after taking your money. A job that should have taken a month to complete has still not been finished a year down the line. Avoid at all costs

• Simon Brown Construction Ltd previously trading as Duraclad now operating as a sole trader-see his website and fantastic but untrue claims. The business has had a large number of poor reviews and membership of Rated People has recently been cancelled. Many customers who have had dealings with Brown and his company are highly critical of the poor service and bad workmanship experienced and want you to know about it but Brown continues to take down their reviews.

• Had an orangerie built last year and had to have 3 roofs put on it and the roof still leaks. Once you have paid your money it is impossible to contact them to get things put right. They will not answer phone calls, texts, emails or letters (which keep getting sent back) and they are no longer registered with Certass or QA National Warranties even though it is still on their web site. I believe they are also trading under the name of Design a Room - same people.

• I had Duraclad to build me a orangery was a bit anxious as had been reading the review on here the day before the work started however it was to late to change my mind as really wanted my dream orangery after I had seen all the 3d drawings of it supplied by simon. Now my build is completed I can say Mr purdy who's review is on here you made me worry for nothing I love my new room and all the guys worked there socks off thanks chaps just shows don't believe everything you read.

• Had orangery built. Was told would be a 4 week project. Started in July and eventually finished in November (2014). Majority of workmen arrived and left whenever they pleased because they were "on other jobs". Customer service is an absolute joke. One of the Simons never replies to your calls and the other Simon just spins a yarn every time. We are still waiting for the documentation and guarantees to be delivered. Since work has been completed no contact has been made with us despite numerous requests to get in touch with us. Disappointed as the price and "promise" seemed genuine. Be careful!

• Do not employ this company. We have been left with a leaking roof, shoddy workmanship. No certificate and they don't want to know.
