I moved to Chelmsford 16 years ago, tried so many Chinese restaurants and take aways and not one could do a decent sweet and sour! It was so bad I stopped ordering it because it was always so vinegar tasting. Only this week I came across Empire Palace and their sweet and sour Hong Kong style was perfect! The perfect balance and so moreish! I woke up the next day craving it... and the next... and the next.. and today we got it delivered and I was in heaven again!I ordered a delivery from the Empire. It was an hour late, cold and all the sauces spilt inside the delivery bag. My dog didn't mind though. Rating history and distribution
