• Chip portions even smaller & price even higher!! Talk about Shrinkflation!! Also chips are ALWAYS soggy. Don’t waste your time here, there are far better chip shops in area

• Having been a visitor for years I have just made my final visit...the chip portions are now so small that you are still hungry after eating the meagre portion and the batter was so uncooked it was slimy......There used to be queues outside the door....you would think that the lack of queues would make them think again....come on, it's a prime spot, why ruin it.

• Asked for large chips 2 battered sausages and mushy peas what a joke it's a shame I can't upload a photo I'm having to order takeaway it's tiny. Won't be going again.

• Food is generally good. Fairly quick service. Chip portions are abhorrent. Paid £1.50 for a "large portion" and counted 27 chips which were closer to French fry size. Not sure if it is because they are catering for the pub next door - either way reflects badly and consequently they've lost a customer this time.

• Food is good (batter is uncooked sometimes with the rock) and even when busy never have to wait long BUT chip portions are TINY!! Getting worse by the week too (07/11/14) Up your sizes Poringland

• Excellent food. Scrupilously clean. Good parking. Just one criticism only one vegetarian option spring rolls. Very tasty but why not a non spicy vegagie burger?
