• Had previously been to the Foleys Four C`s back in September of 2011 & was not impressed. Returned last week(9/04/12) with my partner and his elderly mother for fish & chips in the so called restaurant. To sum things up, it was dirty(food debris left on floor beneath tables & some of the chairs had not been wiped over)The fish & chips were lukewarm and tastless and served by indifferent staff. To be perfectly honest the whole restaurant should be gutted and refurbished to a better standard and the the staff given training in customer care & cleanliness.Certainly lets Seaton down & would not recommend to anyone.

• I ordered take away fish and chips there last Friday evening (11/11), at just after 7pm. For the sum of £11.80 I was sold what was easily the worst fish and chips I've had in years. The large haddock fillets had a slightly perfumed taste (some sort of preservative?), the batter was dire - an outer crust with a thick and stodgy inside, and the chips were clearly the dried out bin ends of the days production. If the staff weren't in a position to serve decent food at that time, why not just say sorry, but they were finished for the day? Unfortunately there is no facility to leave a zero star rating.
