Love the home made fish cake. Always have two when visiting family in Waltham. Delicious!Hard batter chips soggy maybe an off dayNormally the haddock and chips are very good but the last couple of times we have been disappointed as the batter has been hard maybe over cooked, not sure and the chips pale and soggy. We love our haddock and chips but twice on the trot not really for us going in the right direction.excellent quality and large portions!Best fish and chips in the area!!
