• Went today, Sunday, just two of us, told there was no table available until after 3 pm even though carpark was virtually empty, second time we asked for a table lately to be told none available, not going there ever again and found a better Sunday dinner at a pub in Grantham.

• We will never use the Gap again, no fresh food, chefs attitude was very bad, his words I dont give a toss, when we complained and got a refund. the staffs attitude in general was very poor, served up with lots of grinning.

• We went for breakfast at 11am possibly a bit to late but we still expect a good breakfast but no fresh food at all about half an hour left under heat lights all food dried up but payed full price before we finished we wonted more toast but all cleared away thay spent thousands on the gap but food still not good at end of time or change over .ALLSO NO DISABLE TOLETS ON SITE IF THERE IS NO NOTICES

• rubbish overcooked meal with burnt veg and lumpy mashed potatoe..complained but was taken no notice of..if i had not paid before hand i would hav e left the pub without making payment as five of us left the meal.. appalling service and food

• I went the Gap on Mon 7th May, and tried the Carvery. When I thought that they had charged me too much, I was told it was a bank holiday and that was why it was so much more. I looked round the pub and outside to see if there was any indication that the price had been increased, No, I had gammon and turkey and both were as dry as could be. Last time for me.

• We have visited the Gap Inn many times & have always enjoyed value for money. However, today we wanted to order the advertised meal deal of 2 courses for £8.99. We were told that we could not order the main course & the pudding at the same time, something that we have often done in the past, & this annoyed us. The meal deal said 'your main course then indulge yourself with any other pudding from our menu' for £8.99. This advertisement is obviously incorrect & misleading. We felt cheated and disappointed on this occasion. We will certainly return to The Gap because the food & service provide good value for money. But, Crown Carvery, watch the wording in future advertisements or your customers will feel let down.
