"Glendale House: a Victorian villa now beautifully restored, to reflect the architecture of this era, offers our guests a real home from home in a haven of peace and tranquillity. The warm surroundings, charming décor and friendly family atmosphere assures you of a welcome of the very best in Scottish hospitality. We have seven beautifully restored guest bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and all with private facilities offering comfortable surroundings for work or for pleasure The villa situated in the south of the city, within the leafy Victorian conservation area of Craigmillar Park, is an ideal base for all the attractions in and around our beautiful city and in particular for those visiting the University of Edinburgh Kings Buildings or the ERI and the Roslin or Moredun Research Institutes. Conveniently close to the house is Cameron Toll Shopping Centre with an array of shops and café style dining, also nearby is a direct bus route with a frequent service that will quickly take you to all the major attractions including: the Castle, Holyrood Palace, Museums, Art Galleries, Princes Street, Royal Mile, Rosslyn Chapel and the Old Town A selection of up to date DVDs, books, high speed wireless internet connection and secure off street private parking are available and complimentary during our guests stay For the comfort and convenience of all our guests Glendale House is completely non smoking.
