• I am a client and have been a candidate to hammond they are very sneaky I have paid fees with them at reduced rates and won't be using them again I realise now they are a company called Chartwell recruitment and line recruitment it never sprang to my attention but when I spoke to someone at line they sounded familar so I phoned through hammond recruitment and asked for the contact at line they immediatly though they made a mistake and passed me through to the person I did some research and found out they are all the same company. John Dunning of hammond is john chartwell they use this tactic to gain maximum profit. Very sneaky and terrible company

• I have been scammed by Hammond and chart well I didn't even know they were the same company. Sent me an engineer that wasn't fit for purpose also agreed a fixed fee of £2k then decide to send me an invoice for £10k ...... Absolute ripoff Be warned never never ever use these

• This business seems to be a scam, how are they permitted to keep trading, we had the same problem as the last review, strange how they only show up under Hammond Recruitment, but rip U off as Chartwell Recruitment Ltd. Gave them one star as there is nothing lower.

• Chartwell Recruitment Ltd appear to be known for dodgy conduct, I recently gave an unemployed individual an opertunity to prove they could do the job, after a few days I found they could not so I did not employ them, I have now been sent an invoice for several thousands of pounds even though I did not employ the Person, they are mainly interested in money than the quality of the applicant, I will not be paying for some one I did not employ. Recommend find another Agency

• They trade under numerous names but same rip off attitude, Chartwell Recruitment Ltd is just another cover name for Hammond Recruitment Ltd, well advised to stay well clear unless you wish to be ripped off.

• I have also had bad experience with Chartwell recruitment Ltd from Fareham really dodgy lot they make no mention of being Hammond Recruitment ltd and invoice even when no employee introduced

• This company also trades as Chartwell Recruitment Ltd same owner same tactics, I can only confirm what other reviews indicate, they offer little but try to extort the maximum profit from doing nothing, please beware please do not deal with these unscrupulous character's, there tactics border on extortion.

• Be very wary of this company, carries out devious methods to force payment and borders on attempted extortion threats and rather dubious practices, sends unsuitable applicants and then tries to bill you when they have only been interviewed and not employed

• Great service from this company, I requested CV's for a service engineer in Lifts and was duly rewarded with an excellent candidate who has fit in very well.

• I must be old fashioned! If I ever made a mistake I would put my hands up, plead guilty, apologise, fix the problem and move on. How times have changed when a bunch of guys think they can hide behind reams of legalistic T's and C's to justify sharp practises.

• One of the most unprofessional agencies that I have ever come across. I would seriously advise anybody considering doing business with them to do their homework first. Ethics and morals spring to mind.
