• Abysmal service. Went today for a meal for four with the family, seated at the only table which was filthy, waitresses walked by a few times then decided to clean it. We were then brought cutlery by an incredibly sourfaced woman who never even asked how we were,who then asked us 'Would you like sauce?' when I said 'Yes some mint sauce please'. She pointed at the bar and went 'Well go there, 30p for it'. I have never had to pay for sauce in this restuarant before. When our food came no one asked us how it was at all. I then went to go and purchase a capuccino (remember this was only at 4 in the afternoon) and was asked for identification as it was a licensed bar. When the same man earlier served my younger brother for coke. I imagine he just could not be bothered to make it. Make the effort and go to the new Chequred Flag, lovely staff and better food, orcome here and enjoy sour faced staff who find it a chore to serve you.
