• An extremely disappointing meal. The menu detailed pork, beef, lamb, turkey and ham as carvery choices. There was no beef or lamb (apparently, this is available only on Thursdays). My father's pork was undercooked and very fatty. My portion of turkey was meagre, to say the least - one very small slice. The vegetables were cold. I must just mention, though, that the young staff waiting on were faultless - very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

• After arriving and seeing the new look pub we thought this is nice,how wrong we were. We asked for an high chair twice then ended up going for it ourselves, we then waited for over 30mins for our order to be taken only to ask for it to be taken in the end. After waiting a further 30mins our food arrived to which we sent 1 meal back, the pie was soggy, the veg was dried out, forgot to put mayo on burger which made it dry, no tartare sauce, to which we complained to the waiter and was told sorry. Management were nowhere to be seen. The worst meal and service we have ever had. Only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give less.
