• I dined at Ingleby Arms on three nights while staying at the Black Swan Guest House. The service was excellent and the meals enormous and scrumptious. A big thank you to Lissa for the meals and Lorna the barmaid and the locals for the warm welcome.

• Visited this pub along with 6 friends. Although 5 of us found our drinks ok 2 of them found the cider they had ordered to taste funny so took it back to the landlady to change it. She refused to do this saying it had been alright the night before. She was extremely rude in her manner and when another of our party said she would be losing alot of custom aa we had planned to buy more drinks as we werr expecting more friends to arrive her response was well thats my loss! What kind of customer service is that? We have all used this pub regularly in the past when we have visited the area but will not be doing so anymore and we will not be recommending it to anyone!! 1 star awarded as for some reason I cant get rid of it?
