  • 5 star reviewWent into ivy bush for 1st time in years last weekend, i didn't even know it was now open. I have to speak as i find and it is a very friendly pub, people really enjoying themselves, everyone seems happy, and most seem to know each other. It was karaoake night and everyone seems to have a go and is cheered on by all, not ridiculed which is great to see.Looking at the other reviews on here, i feel i must also comment on Guy singing Elvis and Tom Jones,He really is very very good and look forward to hearing him again, I actually was singing along with the song at the bar before i realised it was him singing and not a computerised thing, excellent and extremely entertaining, well done. I do not usually write reviews but felt that i wanted to because it is such a freindly place, and you feel comfortable in there no airs and graces just down to earth regular people enjoying them selves. Well done on a great job to the new landlord.

  • 5 star reviewIn answer to everyones curiosity, Yes his name is Richard, and No he doesn't sing Proffessionally, and isn't in a Tribute Band. The only Place he sings is at The Ivy Bush. And he doesn't think he is any good, he only does it for a Laugh !!.

  • 5 star reviewWell done to the New Owner finally putting a local pub back up there! Karaoke brilliant but should be more regular as it is definately a winner, maybe alternate it every week Fri and Sat,its nice to be able to go somewhere that everyone is so friendly and not feel out of place because your over 21. 1 critisism tho, the chairs are very small(child like)but noticed that a few of them have now been replaced with sofa's.I actually travel in a taxi to this place week in week out costs a fortune but its always worth it for a friendly face. Well done Dave (landlord) cant wait for the weekend hope theirs Karaoke !!!!!. Can your contact number also be updated so as we can check whats on week by week .
