• I have been trying to find a decent chippy in Rainham and Gillingham that consistently delivers good food. I ordered a large cod and chips plus a large doner kebab from Jack's Fish Bar and I would like to congratulate Jack's Fish Bar in serving me the worst food I have had the misfortune to waste my hard earned money on. I have tried many Fish and chip shops in the area and I have never been served anything as bad as the XXXX that was served to me here. I was told the order would be delivered in 45 minutes and was eventually delivered 1hr and 10 minutes after I ordered. When I opened the bag the paper the food was rapped in was drenched in oil, so much oil that if I squeezed the oil into a barrel I could have sold it to Opec Oil Companies. The doner kebab did not taste good and the salad consisted of 1 slice of cucumber 1 slice of tomoato and 1 piece of rotten lettuce and lots and lots of white cabbage. The chips of course were very oily and tasted like they were cooked in old oil and the cod was as tough as old boots and very oily and the colour was a off putting dark brown probably because it was cooked in old oil and after chipping my way into the batter I found there was hardly any cod. We couldn't eat anything that was delivered and put it where it belonged,in the bin as it was not fit for human consumption. So well done Jack's Fish Bar you are officially the worst Fish and Chip Shop I have had the misfortune to try and I have tried many in the Gillingham and Rainham area. I can't understand how Jack's Fish Bar can serve the public food as bad as this and still stay in business because I certainly won't be ordering from here again, not unless by car needs an oil change because the oil they give you with your food here is cheap as chips.
