• Unfortunately, what started out promising ended up being quite a frustrating experience. When I arranged for delivery of auction items to my friend's house and mine, it was explained that the price was per hour and time started/stopped from the depot location. My friend and I were planning to split the price, so this seemed fine but I asked Mr. F how I needed to pay him. He told my over phone not to worry about it and that it would be handled later (somewhat confusing to me but I assumed he would be sending invoice with price after the delivery time was complete?). He also gave me a two hour window for delivery, but arrived at the first stop 40mins after this window. My friend's husband helped unload the van and offered to pay but was refused. I had to leave when the window was up because I had a previous commitment (that I ended up being late for) and my husband just happened to be home so I left him with instructions just to point out where things go and not worry about paying. Well, when Mr. F showed up, now 1hr past delivery window, he explained my husband got to "do the honors" of covering the bill. My husband didn't have the cash and had to make two stops to find a cash machine that worked in order to pay. Mr. F then charged an additional 20 pounds on top of the hefty delivery fee and my husband had no choice but to pay. After returning home and hearing the story, I tried calling Mr. F and left a message but have yet to hear back... Very disappointed with how it all turned out.
