• went to the jesters barnoldswick and ordered drinks the coke was flat the starter of pancakes was underportion size which they agreed was too small, said had young chef who didnt know the size, well he shouldnt have been left in charge !. they offered to halve the cost, then my daughters steak in sauce was too salty and i'd ordered duck in wine sauce and it was an overcooked duck leg in gravy, didnt taste of wine. we hate to complain but we did only so the friendly lady serving us would look into our complaint, but she tore our bill up and said she would rather we didnt pay anything at all. my daughter said '' i am happy to pay some thing but it isnt worth the full price'' and it wasnt what we expected from The Jesters. We left having paid nothing, i dont recommend it, sorry to say this. spoilt our evening, glad we didnt book it for my 60th party. i will give one star for the waitresses who were lovely.
