• I went in here on a Sunday Morning. Had a look round and went into the office to enquire about a car. The male inside was speaking with a customer and didn't even nod hello to me or ask me to take a seat. His £4000 loss was another garage's gain. I won't be going back.

• I bought a Peugeot in early June which sounded and drove fine during the test drive, however, when I came to pick it up, the employee of Kar World backed it out the garage and there was a loud rattling noise heard. I mentioned it to the guy who claimed that he was just about to mention it (yeah right - but benefit of the doubt). I booked it in a total of three times and ended up having a new exhaust which still didn't cure the problem. On the third occasion the garage rang me personally to discuss and it turned out that Kar World had failed to report the exact problem with the vehicle and told them a noise needed to be fixed (hence the garage was shooting in the dark somewhat). Anyhow, after three very inconvenient trips, having to tow a 10mth old with me and keep changing the car seat over, the last visit found them giving me a loan car with absolutely no petrol in it at all (single woman with 10mth old baby on way to work - how is that acceptable). I didn't know how long I was going to have it so couldn't properly judge how much petrol to put in, when I rang to complain about it I was asked "what do you want me to do about it?". Basically, I am picking up the car this afternoon (hopefully fixed and can say that they have done everything they can to sort it (although if they'd done everything properly in the first place it needn't have taken so long or been so costly for them or so inconvenient to me). My problem is with the lack of professionalism and customer service that their web-site claims to have. They are obviously bearing a grudge to me due to no fault of my own and have an attitude, that quite frankly, they have no business having. I am the one who has been dealt a crap deal and I am the one inconvenienced and treated unfairly. If i had my time again, i wouldn't buy anything from them and that is purely because of the way they have handled the problems.
