• Excellent Food and very good Beers. Was made to feel really welcome and our dog was offered fresh water. Really nice pub will definatly visit again when up in the area. Thank you for a lovely day.

• I can only echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer. We ate here on Sunday to celebrate my parents' birthdays and nothing was too much trouble for Ian and Lesley - they even decorated the table!!!! The food was excellent - proper Sunday roast and lovely vegan meal specially prepared for me - and it was superb value at less than £10 each for three very good courses. The beers are well kept and the gardens are great. The landlord, landlady and their staff are all lovely folk and, if you are ever that way, this pub is most definitely worth a visit.

• This is a fantastic pub our car broke down and retook our car to a local man to pick up the next day we called at the pub to use the phone to call a cab but had a dog so no go the landlord got a staff member to give us a lift fantastic staff and landlord I'd like to say thank u very Mutch and will be going back very soon I'd highly recommend this pub to every one .
