• Rotten windows and poor customer service. We have had a very negative experience of this LB Joinery Kendal. In our experience the products supplied and customer service were of extremely poor quality. We purchased a large order of 11 Sash Windows and 3 sets of French doors from them for an extension. The Windows came pre-painted and were made of hardwood to supposedly maximise durability. They have been painted since installation. (It is of note that the original 100 year old windows on our property remain in tact.) Within 5 years the sill on one of the sets of French Windows was completely rotten and one of the other windows had split. The cost of remedying this will be high. After initial contact LB Joinery did not return our calls or offer to examine or address the problem further. They said that they bore no responsibility for the quality of the products after this period of time. They were dismissive and unhelpful and did not return calls after initial contact regarding this issue
