• We had a wonderful experience when we visited the shop. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and made my daughter feel that nothing was too much trouble, and spent time and patience whilst she tried on nearly every dress in the shop! Eventually she found the dress of her dreams which needed a few alterations, ie length and taking in on the bodice. The results were perfect and my daughter looked a dream. I would definitely recommend a visit to this shop. Any signs of earlier difficulties were not evident and it was a pleasurable experience.

• I can not even give this "business" a star. The only reason I have given it a 1 star is because I can not add the review without a rating. My daughter saw the dress of her dreams over 18 months ago. You would think that this would be sufficient to order the dress, get it in and make any alterations. Well, I will tell you, this seems to be impossible for this shop. Not only did the first dress not be the one ordered, the second one was the wrong size, the third was tied up in customs for weeks, the alterations took far to long and on the final fitting day- three weeks before the wedding they were still not done! This has been the biggest waste of money and abysmal customer care I have ever known. The shop "owner" does not even take responsibility for any issues, it was either the dress supplier, customs, the partnership company, the seamstress, the "5 weeks from hell (apparently the partnership shop wanted to sell lacy days shop!), and "my head has not been in it", but none of this was an admission by the owner, that anything was her fault. Give me another 5 days is all I got. This was after being told that they didnt even have a seamstress! My daughter was absolutely distraught. We left and after my daughter has got her composure, went into the wedding dress shop 3 doors down. "The White Gallery", they were unbelivably kind, and tried their utmost to sort out my daughters distress. They allowed her to try on dresses and take the time to try on the one fron Lacy days too. My daughter could not stay in the dress from Lacy days, there is just too much heartache!!!!! Girls dream of their wedding day from being little. This is the most important day in their lives and Lacy Days nearly ruined this for my daughter. I would recommend anyone going here, to keep on walking and go into The White Gallery instead. I would be extremely surprised if Lacy Days is even still trading by the end of the year.
