"The Layfield Arms is a traditional village Inn, Located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Yarm, North York's. An independently owned, family run business. Very welcoming homely feel and a warm and cosy atmosphere.The interior boasts a traditional restaurant with old world charm and character. The lounge has a slightly more contemporary an additional bar area, with Games and live sports."

• i been to this family pub for years when a young italian chef work there .He was a great chef his food was outstanding and the carvery was to die for ,but since he as left food coud be better and the carvery too .
