• Just a heads‑up for anyone considering using Lipscombe Building Contractors. In my case, the required Building Control inspections were never carried out, and Dorset Council later confirmed there were no records for structural parts of the build. I’ve been left with a home that can’t currently be sold because i have recieved no documentation and the work cannot be given a lawful sign‑off. The fact that Lipscombe has allegedly been working locally for 30 yrs with no positive reviews speaks for itself. £191.000 in bank transfers and 36k handed over in cash for a job that I now know should have cost a third of the amount charged.
