• Llewellyn’s Car Sales (Bargoed) ‼️ If I was to give any advice following my recent experience, stay well clear of these crooks. I purchased a vehicle a few weeks back, to have the engine management light come on days later. While still under warranty I took it back to the garage and was told it would be repaired within 1/2 days. A later phonecall told me the part was not available for a week or so. Salesman (Alun) at Llewellyn’s Cars took it upon himself to decide to sell my car back to the company he purchased it off, failing at all times to even consult me before making this decision; bearing in mind I was the registered owner of this vehicle at that time. He reassured me with an option of money back (after he’d sold the car) or finding a like for like vehicle. Salesman (Alun) stated ‘I didn’t have enough faith in the car to spend £1000 on repairs so I thought I’d done the right thing’ So I find myself asking what is the use of the warranty I was given? This car was under a three month warranty, which they failed to honour. It’s clear to see their purchasing vehicles in which they don’t have faith in and selling these vehicles onto the public. Absolutely appauling. I was then told I would be given a like for like vehicle. Days later when I went to view this vehicle there was a gearbox issue, which the garage had no idea about and I had to bring this up myself with them in person. At this stage I decided to demand a full refund and walk away. I was then left to find my own way home from Bargoed to Trealaw without even the courtesy to offer a lift home following a month of inconvenience. The attitude from the owner Howard at Llewellyn’s Car Sales was beyond belief once the refund had gone through, a complete 360 on how he spoke to me while I was in the process of purchasing the vehicle. As mentioned, stay well clear of Llewellyn’s Car Sales (Bargoed) if your looking for a positive experience.
