• New landlord with new ideas and only a 10 min walk from my house. So far I'm impressed. Will be back for the May bank holiday Family fun weekend.

• Staff and clientele are rude. Food is awful and far too expensive for a grotty little pub. Wires are hanging out the wall Also the head barman's kids were running around unsupervised. I also hear that the "chef" has left but they are still serving food!!!! Maybe a call to the food standards agency is in order. If I could give less than 1 star I most definitely would. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

• Should be a gold mine. New estate full of families longing to spend money there. One big problem. It is full of scum bags from the local council estate. Sitting outside smoking fags and staring at you as you walk by. Beautiful building and location but it will always be up for sale every year until someone realises that they need to focus on good and put their prices up to deter the current clientele. The one occasion I did venture in was uncomfortable. A beautiful pub in a beautiful location that is crying out for a complete rethink. To to the hospital inn instead. They turned their pub around. Shame.

• bad pub,food is rubbish all meats that are cooked are like shoe leather, the cook has no idea,the bar service is snail service,an unintersted bar maid,spends more time on mobile phone and talking to the cook in the kitchen.thegirl doesnt watch the bar and never serves in turn,she looks like she should be somewhere else,give this one a miss no wonder its dead and always up for rent r.i.p
