• Please don' t employ Mr Bubb unless you have a time frame or price in WRITING. We mployed him to decorate our 10x 8 kitchen. He quoted 2 days work, as had our kitchen fitter and another decorator but they had given a price max £250. Mr Bubb charges by the hour but saying 2 days wok similar...No. 27 1/2 hours and a bill of £430 later without a coat of paint on the walls, another coat to do on the ceiling, no woodwork painted...we didn't pay full bill but thought we were generous giving £300!!mr Bubb didn't agree. Took us to small claims like he does all the time, his words. We went to mediation and paid half outstanding bill to get rid of him and save time having to go to court again, taking more time off work etc. he was awarded no costs so doesn't win. I contacted Someone he was proud of suing, said he had won but untrue. This person spoke to 2 others Mr Bubb had sued. Not a good way to do business. Never been sued in my life. Never not paid a trades person full price. Never been let down by trades person. Hence my review as I usually do my homework. Please beware.
