• I rarely use this shop despite it being local to me as it is too expensive, however, I went there this morning at 06:30 to buy a mothers day card, only to be turned away by two ladies who were having a cigarette outside the doors who said 'not open, come back at 7:00' before I'd even reached the shop. I don't know the opening times of the shop which is why I looked them up on the Internet where I was informed that the shop opened at 06:00. Either this is a misprint or the shop should have been open, either way I felt that the employees were rude and abrupt,and not wishing to further interrupt their undoubtably well deserved fag break, I took myself and my business to tesco express which is where I will go in future. To summarise, expensive, rude staff, closed when they should have been open. Avoid.

• I totally disagree with Mrs Young and Mrs Hall's comments - the store is always busy which would explain que's and as for your comments about the two member's of staff I think your completly wrong!! They are very polite and couldn't be more helpful. If this troubled or offended you like you say it does why not take your complaint to head office as you were advised?? No you didn't because you's would rather just be busy bodie's and bad mouth staff on a silly little review site!! Keep up the good hard work you staff do.

• I tend to agree with Mrs Young’s comments but my husband would probably disagree. The reason I agree with Mrs Young is because I am in the store every morning/afternoon before I take the children to and from school and when one or both of the ladies are serving customers are always complaining about the time it takes to get served , I know it’s a busy store but there is a time and place to be on your Mobile phone and when you make a comment on them being the phone you get a sarcastic remark back.

• MCCOLLS IS MY LOCAL SHOP I GO THERE EVERY DAY SOMETIMES JUST TO GET OUT AS I LIVE ON MY OWN I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND MOST OF THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY EXCEPT FOR 2 PARTICULAR MEMBERS OF STAFF WHO ARE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER THE LAST 6 MONTHS AFTER THEY HAD PROMOTION THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS IS DISGUSTING THEY ARE VERY ABRUPT TO MOST CUSTOMERS ESPCIALLY THE ELDERLEY AND THE YOUNGSTERS I HAVE WITNESSED THIS ON MANY OCCASSIONS AND I DID REPORT THIS TO A SUPERVISOR I HAVE KNOWN SINCE I STARTED SHOPPING THER WHO TOLD ME ALOT OF CUSTOMERS SAY THE SAME AS ME AND I WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT HEAD OFFICE AS MANAGER COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT I HAVE NOT CONTACTED THEM YET BUT IF I HAVE ANOTHER INCIDENT MITH THE 2 LADIES I WILL
