• If you've had a hard day at work and fancy some smiles at the end of the day., DO NOT go to this place. If you want efficiency in the Postal Service, don't go here. If you have an urgent enquiry regarding something you may have posted, be prepared to call the number at least nine times without reply, until you are cut-off and the phone is engaged for the rest of the night. This is an absolute zero from me, a shame I can't give a zero so it will have to be a one. WORST service in 30 years Milton Keynes.

• One couldn't meet a nicer and more helpful man than in Melrose Post Office. John has always got a smile and a friendly word for anyone, young or old, and whether you visit every day or once in a blue moon. He has helped and advised me on several occasions. This day and age this kind of customer care is rare and most appreciated!

• This one man post office delivers excellent personal service. Customers are recognised and welcomed by name. Mr.Collins' superb knowledge of the postal system is most valuable.
