• What used to be a delightful quiet spot is now like Blackpool on a bad day! Overcrowding, rowdy and dangerous behaviour, litter everywhere. AVOID!

• If you've been in the river here best get tested for hepatitis very soon. This are has been heavily (but not visibly) polluted by the towns sewage system for a number of years now due its excessive over growth of housing and population. The locals don't swim here and haven't for a number of years as a consequence.

• This place is a tip, rubbish strewn everywhere, would not go anywhere near it again. No alcohol allowed or BBQ’s and wasted an hour trying to find somewhere to park. When I finally got down to the river I heard someone had drown there last year. Not even worth one star!

• This is not a swimming pool. Don’t bother visiting, no facilities, no BBQ’s allowed, limited parking and rammed full of people on a nice day.
