I used to visit Oxfam, Chesham fairly regularly but since the recent refurbishment I have stopped going altogether.
Prior to the refurbishment the staff used to play random music of their choice on a recorder - musical taste is highly individual & I am not happy to have it foisted on me.
Now speakers have been installed in the ceiling & the music is continuous. Who chooses it & why do they think it appeals across the spectrum?
