• Very average with grossly inflated prices. Looks better from the outside than it is. Rowdy customers standing around the bar so we were unable to relax with our meal.

• Pub has recently changed hands. It's no longer a cosy country pub all the soft furnishings have gone and it seems loud and noisy. Indifferent staff & prices have gone sky high. I don't plan to visit again.

• Tried this pub whilst out rambling with a group. Nice atmosphere very relaxing, great food and some of the best local beers you will find anywhere. We will return.

• A traditional country pub, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and landlord. Had a very good pub meal and the beer was excellent.

• A lovely traditional country pub, really friendly laid back landlord and pleasant staff. Food is excellent for the reasonable price and they serve a very good pint.

• Disappointing Landlord was less than fragrant. Seems vey clicky and not quite the atmospher I was expecting of a village pub.will not bother to go again.shame because my last visit to the area in 2011 I really enjoyed my visit.i think it has changed hands recently
