• An excellent job has been done by the village who've clubbed together to buy their local! Food is excellent, keeping menu choices smaller is allowing the chef to cook to a high quality. Lovely decor, drinks and atmosphere. This is set to become a gem of a pub, be sure to book in advance to eat at the weekend.

• guys thanks you for a fab and welcoming time it was nice to see a real country pub trying to keep its look, and you made our time with you second to none. All tought the menu was limited the food we had was excalent and good price.Thanks agian for making our stay with you fab we will be back next year and hope to bring our freinds with us

• What a warm and welcoming pub, thanks to Les up provided with a room a last min an d made our stay very nice. Love the open fire and fab meal in the evernig once again thank you and will be coming back

• Thoroughly disappointing experience - drinks overpriced, toilets unlit and unclean, and food truly appalling. The 'roast' took an age to show up and was clearly microwaved frozen roasters, parsnips and Yorkshires that were barely warm. One of the worst meals I have ever had. Avoid this pub!

• the food used to be good new owners do not have a clue, cheese burger and chips no salad just a dry burger bun and over cooked chips
