"The Red Lion was taken over by myself for the second time in August 2012, we are serving traditional pub grub and beautifully kept real ales. Open for drinks on a Monday evening from 5:30pm, serving food every other day 12pm - 3pm "

• Booked a table recently with friends and although pub was hardly busy, it took over an hour and a half to serve what was not a very good meal. Steak & Ale pie was so heavily laced with cinnamon that it was almost inedible and pastry was not cooked and was inedible. They really do need a decent chef otherwise they will be going out of business again very soon.

• Ate at th red lion recently, the food is not that good, real ale poor quality, Ivor the chef gives the impression he is doing everybody a favour being there, desserts were frozen, need I say more

• The Red Lion is back on the map.award winning chef, the food and beer are winners.Ivor and asha de Lloyd have taken over the Red Lion this year. Ivor the landlord and his wife welcome everybody from old to young , children and dogs included.The food is fresh with a Caribbean twist. three real ales on tap.There web site is www.redlionwinterscross.co.uk01989730546
