• Good food and a friendly atmosphere at prices which are amazingly low for the high quality. 3 courses for two people for less than £50. To start we had a large portion of really good cauliflower soup with two large pieces of home made bread, and a crab pancake. For the main course we both had lamb - the best we've ever had. That very rare combination of top quality meat, amazing cooking and presentation (better than I've had in Michelin starred restaurants) with a dish of seasonal vegetables and even an option of chips. To finish we had a strawberry pannacotta (real strawberry flavour) and amazing home made ice cream - the chocolate orange and the brown bread ice creams are wonderfull.Great food and even better value
