• I am astonished at the previous reviewers comments as I visit this pub monthly with my sisters and friends, all of which are very particular. This pub is not dirty and Jan is a lovely landlady. The food is always good and I can say certainly not greasy. I find it somewhat disconcerting that the previous review is anonymous, its easy to be spiteful when you don't put your name to it! This is the first time I have ever written a review and would recommend this pub with no hesitation. It also has a great range of beers

• the pub is very badly managed and isnt very clean, in the bar and resturant! i wasnt happy with the service i recieved from the bar staff, she was very rude. its very ran down and poor. the food i recieved was cold and very greasy! overall i wouldnt come back and think she needs to change her ways...
