• Just bought car number four from Kirsty, always reliable and excellent after care service. I get my mot and service done here every year and have always been happy with the service. I've tried other garages in the last, including local main dealers and not been satisfied. I would buy my next car here

• positive words are all I have for this garage, better than dealing with overpriced main dealers. Had a bulb go out after 6 months which they have just changed without an appointment for free.

• Purchased a car from these people worst thing I ever did. This vehicle had a number of faults when I notified the garage they said they would look at it and keep it all day I would return and faults where not fixed this happened 3 times until guarantee expired. £500.00 repair bill to put things right.

• Please save yourself alot of time, money and hassle by buying your used car elsewhere. Have had this car less than 5 months and has been back for repairs 4 times, and still having the same problems, they fob you off until your guarentee runs out than demand you pay for the repairs! They can be proffesional until they have your money then they couldnt care less. And should your dare complain, expect to recieve your car back an absolute mess and the interior covered in oil. They also are unwilling to provide receipts for any paid repairs carried out.

• We were looking for the right car for sometime, after searching eBay, autotrader, fish 4 cars. I travelled as far as Scotland from Middlesbrough to see some right dirty sheds! Wish I had found riverviewcarsltd earlier as they have very clean and tidy cars. They are helpful and friendly and the car has been without fault. Recommend to all

• I have bought a car from here and was misled to the condition of the car. When i brought it up with the staff they were not very helpful. I left my car with them for some work and when i got it back nothing had been done. If you too have had a poor experience with the pleass ring VOSA and select option 7 to leave a confidential report.

• We bought our Ford Mondeo a few weeks ago, being foster Carers we need a reliable vehicle. Kirsty was lovely and made sure we had the car when we needed it, it looked new although it is used. We have travelled to the peaks camping with the car full and it was a lovely drive. I would recommend this dealer to my family and friends, they were very helpful and prompt.

• bought a couple of cars from eric amazing at first but complete nightmare later. Took weeks and weeks to get a problem sorted ,never returned calls,allways had excuses for not having repairs done ,wrong parts sent etc, eventually took car back unrepaired after weeks of stressful phone calls and took it elsewhere. Dont be fooled by caring friendly initial impression created.

• Bought a Megane is the summer(2012). Can only say that the service before, during and after has been excellent.So much so that take car from Northumberland to S.Shields to get it serviced. Would not hesitate to buy from these guys again.

• the biggest nightmare of my life was buying a car from these people .the people who have given positive review about them must be the lucky ones or the staff people because they only want to see you teh day you are giving them the money and buyin the car from thembut next time you see them thats when the real story begins. I bought car recently and it started to give troubles in the very first week such as starting problem ,very high fuel consumption for diesel car noises all over the place ,window not working properly and so on. At first when i went ot buy the car the looked AS NEW absolutely lush and clean and also sounded and drive perfectly..and the garage owners were very nice to you but what you dont know is there AFTER SALES SERVICE which is ABSOLUTE NIGHT MARE and the lies come out of these people are unbelievable. THERE most common lies: -you will never have problem with the car bought from us. -best thing you are doin is buyin the car from us coz will will never in future charge you labour cost . -we will do everything to make sure you are happy with your car. I have left my car for three hours at there garage to just get the plugs changed but they couldnt even done that they said they got the wrong size plugs ...my car is still not fixed and keep goin to the garage nearly once every couple of weeks...the problems get wrote by the lady called kirsty who dont even know what she is writing i mean i cant even explain to a mechanic or something ,u just have to leave the car with them if you get lucky they will have a look at your car. I wasted a lot of money in the car that look brand new and it was cheaper but to be honest you will regret every single penny you try to save on there cars.. BOTTOM LINE GO THERE IF YOU GOT PLENTY MONEY AND TIME...

• I bought a car from Riverview Cars Ltd recently and it has been an absolute nightmare. Totally appalling customer service to the point of being insulting and abusive. Lots of failed promises and lies. They present an illusion to you at first, one that makes it look like they are a kind and friendly setup, with your best interests at heart - "we only want you to be happy with the car" - but do not be fooled by this, like I was, as once they have your money it's as if they couldn't give a damn. I made a huge mistake buying a car from Riverview Cars Ltd. The above review is my opinion and I am entitled to give it. My opinion is based on direct experiences with Riverview Cars Ltd. I make this review in the hope that it saves other people from having to go through what I have been through. I have to give them at least one star due to not being able to post this review unless I give a star rating, but I assure you, they aren't even worth that.

• Bought a Renault Megane from River View Cars in Febuary 2011, very happy with the car. When back in March 2012 for a service, very good value, nice people, recommended.

• Dont go to riverveiw cars unless you want to be messed about bought a car from them and nothing worked on it. I went back with a list of faults to be fixed and they promised to fix the faults and supply me with a courtesy the car I was given had no tax no mot and i was not insured for it. so i had to return on another day with a lift home. the original fault was not fixed but after four weeks of travelling backwards and forwards i'd had enough the manager promised to mail the part out to me but i am not holding my breath. stay away and spend your money somewere else
