• We fell upon this pub as we were out on a Sunday afternoon & what a delight.we have been twice now & very impressed.good menu to choose from & proper home made tasty food.I have had the Cumberland sausage with mash & plenty of homemade onion gravy & vedge.I have also had the barbecue chicken melt both were very tasty.my husband opted for the steak of the day & loved it both times.can't wait for our next visit..compliments to the chef.

• Called this evening. Fabulous home made food, warm welcome and reasonable surroundings.planning on going again even though we live an hours drive away.

• First and last time we will visit the rose and crown, I had a mushroom stroganoff and it was in a disgusting mustard sauce and I wouldn't be surprised if it was out of a jar.it seemed that the locals that was there was loud and proud of being in court that day. Drive past as fast as you can because we will if we are ever in that area again.

• Thsi is a sole free pub with bad food and no atmosphere. They have nothing that is inviteing or even renotley interesting. Avoid
