• Sorry but we won't return. We sat in the garden which is scruffy and un-cared for; the food is mediocre and overpriced. At £11.95 for scampi, chips and peas I was at least expecting chunky home-made chips but was sadly disappointed. The tartare sauce was home-made and I thought I detected a mild horseradish taste; pleasant but odd. According to the landlady it was tarragon I tasted because they "use capers, and capers taste of tarragon don't they". I found her quite patronising.
