I don't normally shop in Sainsbury but as I was in Washington for the day I thought I would pop in for my weekend shop. The thing I noticed most was that it was so much more expensive than my local supermarket. Also, this morning my daughter pointed out that both the bread and bagels which I bought yesterday had a best before date of today (these were not discounted goods and I really should have checked myself) I would never shop in this store again. I took my 90 year old mother who uses a wheelchair, shopping in the Galleries, we had our lunch in the Sainsbury Restuarant. The service was quick and the meal was excellent. A young waitress named Emily was really helpful; she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and I would like to compliment her on her customer care. Thank you Emily.
