• I have been to this pub twice recently and was amazed to see people complaining about the food and very dissatisfied. Service was terrible and the food quite the worst I have had in this area. The Talbot in Bishopton is far superior and we will not be going again. Landlord is obsessed with table bookings even when the place is empty. Very off putting.

• Myself and Partner visited the Ship on Saturday 18th October for my Partner's birthday booked a table for meal at 6.30 at 8.30 we were asked to leave the table with no alternative seats to watch the live music This I felt was very out of order as when I booked it was not stated that would have to vacate the table by a certain time. As we have frequented this pub regularly throughout the years as it was once the local Village pub now it seems those who have purchased food are cast aside for a table of younger people who asked to join two tables together and weren't even eating but making plenty of noise not that I am against them enjoying themselves I was just very unhappy about the way we were treated Also we were never asked if we would like to see dessert menu.!!
