• My first computer at the age of 16 or 17. I was very excited about it. I bought it from the US and had to pay �80 taxes. Then the screen blanked out. The repair cost around �250 and took 2 LONG months. Every day without it was an agony. When it came it worked for 5-10 minutes and the screen blanked out again. Spent �20 to send it back, was promised a postage refund. Weeks later got it with screen dimmed and no option to change brightness. The repair person, Mohsin Zaidi and SMR Computers, kept lying and never refunded postage. Laptop's initial cost to me was about �330, from what I can remember. Nightmare.
