• On Saturday night 10/3/18 I attended a charity event in aid of 2 charities, I was advised on the ticket this was a casino night. I was really looking forward to it as I've been a couple of times to casinos in Glasgow & Perth western Australia . On arrival we took our seats , the place was packed. I along with my friends went to play the tables. I thought it was very dark on the floor & I couldn't see what was going on as I'm short sighted . I asked the compare if they could turn the lights on, he replied, [ but that would make it to bright & no one else has complained ] , I also asked to 2 females who organised the event, they were quite unhelpful and said the same , I asked the bar staff who said it wasn't anything to do with them . eventually after having to explain for a fourth time that I was short sighted , I came for a casino night & casinos a very bright the lights went up. After about 15mns while I was betting on the tables the lights went out. I had to leave the floor as I couldn't see what was happening. I had no one to support me & felt very upset that a charity event organiser & your social club could be so unhelpful due to my disability towards me . I spoke to the president of your club re this, he seemed to agree with me but after about another 30 minutes of me having to keep asking the organisers to put the lights on , they eventually did. I am totally disgusted at how your staff & the people who organised this made me feel . I've not felt like this since my School days
