• I approached Stewarts Law in October 2013 looking for an exit strategy from my employment. I went along for my initial meeting and was very impressed with their smart office surroundings. I met with Julie Stewart who assured me I had a strong case against my employers and I walked away from that meeting confident Stewarts Law was on the case. 6 months later we appeared to be no further long the line. In April 2014 due to my sheer frustration of what appeared to be a complete lack of progress I contacted my employer who advised me they had been waiting for a proposal settlement to be put forward but Julie Stewart had not done this. I then went on to discover that despite three requests for a proposed settlement to be put forward it never came from Stewarts Law. I was further advised that they had received no correspondence in relation to a settlement from Julie Stewart for over three months! At this point I advised Stewarts Law that they no longer represented me and continued the communications with my employer directly and within one week secured a settlement! Stewarts Law charged me almost £11,000 for this privilege. I would not recommend this law firm at all.
