• I ordered 85m2 of limestone tiles in May for delivery in August 2014. Was told weekly that everything was fine with the order right up until the delivery date. Then it turned out the tiles had not left India and then it turned out they had not even been made. At that point it turned out that the tiles would be 20mm thick after manufacture when the order stated 10mm. Was then promised delivery for 20 September and was told that they were on a container on a boat that had left at the end of August. On 18 September guess what they ring to say no tiles, then it transpires that the tiles have not even left the factory! Simon at Stoneworks then says they will be delivered at the end of October and what is the problem with that and it was all due to Indian timekeeping. At this point I cancelled the order and we are currently trying to get the money back. Would not trust Simon further than I could throw him!
