• Bought a car for my daughter to travel to university, car was four years old and cost £4,500 in September. Broke down the first day she used it. The car went to the Citroen garage for a week, we were assured it was fixed. As you can imagine, my daughter had little confidence to now drive all the way to Cambridge. In December,car broke down again, and was stuck on town bridge for three hours. Again the car was in the garage for a week and assured once again it was working fine. I demanded our money back, but stoneacre said it was their policy to try and fix it first. It broke down again yesterday. This is the third time. I will be surprised if she has driven more than 200 miles since the day we got the car. No one seems to now what is wrong with it. This time I am demanding my money back and compensation. We had only hear bad reviews about stoneacre but it was the only place that sold a car my daughter wanted. The salesman reassured us that he had been head hunted to improve the companies reputation. This clearly hasn't worked. I would advise anyone reading this, to think twice before buying from this company.
