• Dreadful service, worst I have ever experienced. My little boys mouth was burnt from peppercorns which were served under his peas, meal chosen from "little ducklings" menu. After I complained the response from the most senior staff was "whatever". I wouldn't even rate 1 star, but I can't submit the review without it. Do not eat there.

• Went to the Strawbury Duck on New Year's Eve - awful! £25 per head to stand in a pub all night as there was no seating made available. Not only that, they had the cheek to expect customers to pay for supper - this was NOT stated on the ticket! After complaining to the Manager, supper was offered FREE!(?) This consisted of a burger served on an ice cold barm cake. For those that requested a cheese burger, a slice of processed cheese was thrown on top - yum! Needles to say, my party and I left after about an hour. We heard lots of customers complaining and many left. I, nor my party, would recommend this pub. I'm only leaving one star because I have to star rate, otherwise I wouldn't bother!
