• We found eating here to be a very unpleasant experience. The long wait between courses was totally unacceptable. We got our main course an hour and a half after ordering even though people who had ordered after us were already getting their dessert. The myriad waitresses just ignored us, and never once said sorry for the wait or something similar. The owner and manageress were arrogant, defensive and argumentative when we complained, which is not the way to treat paying customers. He actually produced a piece of paper saying the time we arrived, time we ordered, time we got our starter, time we got our main etc. Who on earth keeps that sort of record???? All a great shame, as the food was excellent. We won’t go back, and we will naturally be telling other people about our experience.

• Whilst the ambience continues to appeal the food wasn't great.Previous visits left you with a feeling of money well spent.The saving grace was the wine.
